2012

While we chased phantom boogie men in the Middle East, slowly, systematically, but surely the United States was eaten from within -- our financial resources stolen, our military wasted, local law enforcement turned in to armed militia, education and health care subverted, even the Gulf spill and other ecological "accidents" all, from one vantage point, easily seen as pure military assaults upon the long-term well-being of the United States.

A dark time -- an easy time to point fingers.

Is it possible, really possible, that special interests see the "average American" as a threat?? I have warned of this day for the past 8 years . . . is it so much of a stretch to see, if someone wanted to undermine the power of the United States, that the best possible "assault" on the United States has already happened??

And that it happened not due to a foreign enemy but, instead, as "blowback" from choices made in full view, with the tacit support of a sleeping populace, too consumed with greed to notice the nation was veering madly off course.

I believe we are coming to a really "interesting" fork in the road -- a time when we either embrace spirituality, compassion, and sustainability and begin to "heal" . . . or continue down our current path. That path leads to a poisoned future, one we're not going to enjoy.

I have talked quite a bit over the past 12 - 18 months about this "fork in the road" time . . . in 2007 it was easy to predict what would happen. For most, evidently their need to deny reality superceded their ability to see the future, but if you allowed yourself to step away from the rhetoric and self-congratulatory hype, honestly it was easy to see how "inevitable" it all was.

Now it is not so easy . . . there is a balance in the numbers but a distinct difference in where people are and how they operate. A polarized world. One which teeter-totters on a slippery and dangerous slope.

If you see your brothers and sisters as family -- and I am referring here to the human family . . . then you are making a start towards healing and wholeness. If you see trees and bees and all creatures as interdependent pieces in a world made through love by a ceative spirit -- one much bigger and smarter than we are -- then you are on the path towards integration.

If, on the other hand, you feel man has an "obligation" to make the world "better" than it was before and the earth is nothing more that a giant walmart of stuff to extract at the cheapest price, with little thought as to what grows back, then 2012, for you, is likely to be a bit of a bummer. If you fall in to this "camp", then the Hollywood version of 2012 is, in point of fact, likely to materialize in your world.

As you see, so you walk.

Compassion rocks -- greed . . . well that is passe. Time to get with the reality and see the true nature of life -- that nature is best seen in the integration of spirit and matter, not the split.

The integration of love and respect for others with that same love and respect for yourself.

For those who choose to walk that path, 2012 will be a mirror that shines brightly. It will lead to alignement with other loving souls, a banquet of possibilities. The tipping point has already tipped. Love is what will save us -- greed is what will kill us.

2012 will give back -- on a spiritual level -- what it receives from you, deep within your heart. You cannot fake your way through 2012. Those who are true will find truth. Those who walk in lies and darkness, they will find lies and darkness reflected back to them.

I believe in a creative spirit. It is loving and all-knowing. I am not naive for thinking this. Embrace the inner "reality" and it will reflect back to you as a saving grace, a life raft in a time of troubles.

The most magical time in history -- but only for those who embrace magic. Believe in God, believe in yourself. A very interesting year . . . 2012 is now less than 10 days away.
